Natural Education and Bioversity
Natural Education is an alternative schooling project, also known as forest school. The first forest schools were established in europe, and now, they are being realized around the world, although not yet in New Zealand. Time to change that !
A short definition is: Natural Education has its main focus on nature, adults and children spent most of the time together outdoors. There, we can learn directly from nature, as our forefathers and -mothers have done since the beginning of humankind. Natural Education keeps this tradition alive, as it is inspired by alternative schooling methods from Steiner (Waldorf School), Montessori, Democratic Schooling and Homeschooling.
Bioversity is an initiative for a comprehensive apprenticeship in sustainable culture and living. Bioversity is a helpful project to give young people and others a training towards a sustainable culture. This can lead to a more confident, positive approach and bring hope. Furthermore, the participant will gain very practical skills.
Bioversity is preparing a combined educational programm for theoretical and practical experience in biodynamic and organic farming/gardening, permaculture, ecological building and architecture skills, alternative technology, arts and crafts, natural healing and therapy, green tourism and other related themes. It provides the essential knowledge and practise for a sustainable way of life and thriving ecological communities. You will learn how to live with, instead of against nature !
